The Indian Super League (ISL) season 2025-26 is set to start on February 14. Ahead of that, the FanCode won the bid to stream the league. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) accepted Fancode's bid on February 2. Kaleidoscope Production and Services (KPS Studios) has been appointed to handle production responsibilities for the league.
The development marks another significant milestone for Dream Sports-owned FanCode, which continues to expand its presence across multiple sporting properties in India. The company emerged successful from a competitive bidding process that included Kolkata-based media conglomerate Anandabazar Patrika (ABP) and JioStar. By beating two major industry players, FanCode has underlined its growing stature in the domestic sports streaming ecosystem.

FanCode’s association with football is not new. Over the past few years, the platform has established itself as a regular player in the football streaming market, carrying both Indian and international competitions. Its portfolio includes the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations, one of the continent’s premier tournaments, which was streamed on FanCode and attracted substantial viewership.
In addition to African football, FanCode also streamed the CAFA Nations Cup, where India finished third, giving Indian fans access to key regional international fixtures. These streaming further reinforced the platform’s commitment to offering a wide range of football content beyond European leagues, focusing as well on tournaments that feature the Indian national team.
FanCode has also served as the streaming platform for several of India’s important continental assignments. The platform streamed India’s AFC Asian Cup qualifiers against Hong Kong on June 10, Singapore on October 9, and Bangladesh on November 18, ensuring fans could follow the national side’s journey in the qualification campaign.

Securing the ISL rights for the 2025-26 season fits neatly into FanCode’s broader strategy of becoming a comprehensive destination for Indian sports. The Indian Super League remains the country’s top-tier football competition and one of the most-watched domestic leagues across all sports. Having the ISL on its platform gives FanCode a flagship property that complements its existing football portfolio and enhances its appeal to both fans and advertisers.
With KPS Studios entrusted with production duties, the league is expected to maintain streaming standards while FanCode focuses on distribution and digital reach. As competition in India’s sports streaming space intensifies, FanCode’s successful bid for the ISL highlights its ambition to play a central role in shaping how Indian audiences consume football in the coming years.
