How to Apply

• Verify Eligibility : Ensure you are a local resident of Chhattisgarh and fulfill all age and educational criteria (Higher Secondary School Certificate with Drawing as a subject or equivalent technical certificate).

• Visit Official Website : Navigate to the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) official portal at https://vyapamprofile.cgstate.gov.in/online/

• Read Instructions : Carefully review the exam guidelines, syllabus, and notification details available on the Vyapam website.

• Submit Online Application : Fill out the online application form accurately as per the instructions provided on the portal before the closing date.

• Download Admit Card : Once the application is processed, download your admit card from the same Vyapam website when released.

• Prepare for Exam : Participate in the written selection examination tentatively scheduled for 02 August. 2026.

• Document Verification : If selected, present original certificates (Age, Caste, Residency, Educational Qualifications, and No-Objection Certificate for employees) during the mandatory document verification process.

Selection Process

• Online Application : Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB/Vyapam) website at https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in/

• Admit Card Issuance : Based on the submitted online applications, eligible candidates will be issued admit cards, which must be downloaded from the Vyapam website.

• Written Competitive Examination : Selection will be conducted through a written competitive examination organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam).

• Merit List Preparation : Vyapam will generate and provide a merit list of candidates to the Water Resources Department based on examination performance.

• Tie-Breaking Criteria : In case of equal marks, candidates with an earlier date of birth will be given priority.

• Document Verification : Candidates recommended by the selection committee must present original certificates, including educational qualifications, caste certificates (if applicable), and proof of Chhattisgarh residency, for verification.

• Final Eligibility Assessment : Appointment is subject to the appointing authority verifying all qualifications and determining the candidate's suitability for the post.

• Medical Examination : Final selection requires the candidate to be declared mentally and physically fit by a District Medical Board.

• Police Verification : The candidate must successfully clear a police verification process before being formally inducted into the service.

• Probation Period : Appointed candidates will serve a 3-year probation period, which may be extended by up to 1 year if performance is unsatisfactory.
