New Registration : Register yourself by providing the required details to generate a unique Registration Number and password. Fill Application : Log in using your credentials, select your preferred Units, Departments, and Trades in order of preference, and fill out the online application form accurately. Upload Documents : Upload scanned copies of your recent color photograph, signature, and mandatory documents (such as Class 10/12 mark sheets, ITI certificate/mark sheets, and caste/category certificates if applicable). Pay Fee : Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹100 online through the provided payment gateway link (SC, ST, PwBD, EBC, and women candidates are exempt). Submit and Print : Submit the final application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for your records and future reference.
Selection Process
Online Application : Candidates must submit applications online through the official Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) website. Shortlisting Criteria : Candidates are shortlisted strictly based on academic merit and their order of preference for Unit-Department-Trade. Merit Calculation for ITI Trades : The merit list is prepared using the average percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI. Merit Calculation for Lab Technicians : For Laboratory Technician (Pathology and Radiology) posts, merit is based on Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and 12th Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) marks. Tie-Breaking Rule : Candidates with older age are ranked higher if marks are equal, followed by the earlier date of passing the matriculation exam. Document Verification Call : Shortlisted candidates equal to 1.5 times the notified vacancies are called for Document Verification (DV). Final Panel Preparation : The final panel selection is subject to the successful verification of original testimonials and the production of a medical fitness certificate.
