Stenographer (Grade C) : 12th Class Passed, Stenography [Dictation (English / Hindi) : 10 Mins : 100 WPM, Transcription (English : 40 Minutes \| Hindi : 55 Minutes)]. Stenographer (Grade D) : 12th Class Passed, Stenography [Dictation (English / Hindi) : 10 Minutes : 80 WPM, Transcription (English : 50 Minutes \| Hindi : 65 Minutes)].
How to Apply
Visit the official website : Go to the official SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in or use the 'my SSC' mobile application. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) : New candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process on the new website, as old registrations are not functional. Log in to the portal : Log in using your registered 'Registration Number' and 'Password'. Access the application form : Click on the "Apply" link located under the "Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination-2026" section in the "Live Exam" tab. Fill in required details : Complete the application form by providing the necessary educational, personal, and examination center preference information. Capture live photograph : Use the application module to capture a clear, full-frontal live photograph with a plain background, ensuring you are not wearing a cap, mask, or spectacles. Upload scanned signature : Upload your scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB) with dimensions of approximately 6.0 cm width by 2.0 cm height. Review application details : Use the "Preview/Print" option to thoroughly check that all filled information is correct before final submission. Submit the application : Finalize your application by clicking "Submit" after agreeing to the declaration. Pay the application fee : Pay the fee of ₹100/- (if applicable) through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Card by 16-05-2026 (23:00 hrs).
