Complete One Time Registration (OTR) : Perform the OTR if not already done, ensuring mandatory KYC using your Aadhaar or Jan-Aadhaar card for details like name, father's name, date of birth, and gender. Verify Personal Details : Ensure your personal details (name, father's name, DOB, gender) in the OTR profile exactly match your educational documents, as these are fetched automatically and cannot be changed later without updating your Aadhaar/Jan-Aadhaar. Upload Photos and Signature : The system will automatically fetch the live photo captured during OTR, and you must upload a scan of your signature and left-hand thumb impression. Fill and Submit Application : Fill in the required details, review the application carefully, and submit it; you will receive an application number upon successful submission. Print Application : After successful submission, ensure you take a printout of the hard copy of your application form. Pay Registration Fee : Pay the required One Time Registration fee as applicable to your category. Selection Process
Preliminary Examination : This is an objective-type test consisting of law subjects (70% weightage) and a test of proficiency in Hindi and English language (30% weightage). Main Examination : This is a written examination consisting of Law and Language papers. Final Selection : Candidates are recommended to the appointing authority based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the Main Examination.
