How to Apply?
Visit the Official Website : Go to the ISRO website at www.isro.gov.in between July 28, 2026, and August 17, 2026, to access the online application portal. Complete Registration : Register on the online portal or through the National Career Services (NCS) portal and carefully note down the generated online registration number. Provide Valid Contact Details : Enter a correct and active e-mail ID, as all official communications, hall tickets, and call letters will be sent exclusively via e-mail. Upload Required Documents : Upload clear scanned images of your recent passport-size color photograph and signature in JPG format, along with your GATE score card in PDF format. Submit the Application : Review all entered details carefully to ensure accuracy and submit the online application form on or before August 17, 2026. Pay Application Fee : Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹250 through the online Bharathkosh portal using net banking, UPI, debit card, or credit card by August 19, 2026, while noting that women, SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, and PwBD candidates are fully exempted from this fee.
Selection Process
Online Application & Eligibility Screening : Candidates must submit online applications through the ISRO website by August 17, 2026, meeting the minimum essential qualifications (BE/B.Tech or equivalent with 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA). Shortlisting via GATE Scores : Candidates are screened-in for the interview stage in a 1:7 ratio strictly based on valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 scores rather than GATE marks or rank. Interview Assessment : Shortlisted candidates undergo a comprehensive personal interview evaluated out of 100 marks across technical knowledge, general awareness, communication skills, comprehension, and academic achievements. Final Merit Panel Generation : The final selection panel is generated using a 50% weightage given to GATE scores and a 50% weightage given to the interview performance, subject to meeting category-wise qualifying criteria.
